Almost every employee has difficulty speaking English. Pedlars are very annoying and pushy - I'm there for a relaxing time, not to have pedlars chase me around - saying no means nothing to them. Sewage smell on several days on our balcony. Lizards and spiders in bathroom. One woman we travelled with had numerous sores on her legs from insect bites - and then found a bug in her bed that had claws. Room service does not always answer - only three items to order from room service. The food looked incredible, but it means nothing if you're sick and cannot eat. Four Immodium tablets daily have no effect. I have been sick for 6 out of seven days, am still experiencing loose stool problems, and have to go to Emerg today to get antibiotics. We only used bottled water for drinking and brushing our teeth, so obviously something is contaminated. Thirteen out of sixteen people in our group were sick. Our room was directly above the service area in the rear of the resort, very noisy in the morning. (5:30am - 6am). Renovations to the roof were being done near our room. This is understandable,but they start at 8:00am - noisy in the morning. Pepto Bismol - $65 US.
